Rosalee Bussing Obituary

Rosalee "Rosie" Bussing, 73, of Angola, died Friday, July 11, 2014, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

She retired from the Angola Walmart where she was a cashier. She had also worked as a cook at McCool's Tavern and at The Diner.

She was born Dec. 29, 1940, in Ashley to Weir and Georgia (Kunkle) Ford. She married John "Jack" Bussing on April 14, 1966.

She was a member of the Angola Christian Church and the Steuben County Home Extension Club of Pleasant Lake.

She is survived by her four sons and daughters-in-law, John Bussing of Auburn, Donald and Cindy Bussing of Angola, Tony and Diana Ford of Destin, Florida, and Ryan Bussing of Angola; two brothers, Thomas Ford of California and Robert Ford of Oregon; her sister Mary Ann Bowen of Michigan; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John "Jack" Bussing on April 14, 2002; one daughter, Kristine; two sons, David and Earl; and two grandsons.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Weicht Funeral Home, Angola, with John Coney officiating. Calling will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sorter Cemetery, Kinderhook, Michigan.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
